You know there are just some people out there who talk a big talk. They seem to enjoy talking big about what they are going to do. However, there are only a few who actually accomplish what they have set out to do. We read in...
We read in Proverbs 13:4, "The appetite of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the appetite of the diligent is abundantly supplied."
The Lord calls us His children blessed and we are, but we also have to be diligent in our field of work so that we can be leaders and be good examples to others. It is also very important to realize that many people are stuck in their financial situation because they lack vision for their financial future. In other words, many people live life without thinking about the future and planning. Sometimes people fail to plan and so they plan to fail. It is important that ....
Being a good steward of God's financial blessing to us would of course include being debt-free. Unfortunately, there are so many Americans who not only have a mortgage on their home, but also on their TWO vehicles! Yikes!
Another very important key to remember about finances is that we are stewards of God's money. Everything good we have is from God. That's what we read in James 1:17. It says, "Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light."
"Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another." Romans 13:8
It is so very important that Christians do not get into debt that they cannot quickly repay. I know there are some believers who think that there is no way they could have a house if they never borrowed the money from the bank to get it. What many do not understand is that they still do not own that house, the bank owns the house. You know, prosperity means more than just someone being blessed financially. Prosperity is being blessed spirit, soul and body. Look at this incredible Scripture:
How could we talk about God's Provision and blessings without mentioning (again) faith? After all faith is what makes it happen, right? Faith is what makes many things happen.
Even in the old testament the Israelites knew that it was God's will to prosper them. We read in Nehemiah 2:20, "I answered them, The God of heaven will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build."
They knew, they were certain and assured, that the God of the Israelites would bless and prosper them. "I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me. Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness (uprightness in every area and relation, and right standing with God)."
You know, some people become fearful when it comes to thinking about being wealthy. They are familiar with this statement: "Money is the root of all evil." However, |
"If you make the Most High your dwelling-even the Lord, who is my refuge-then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Psalm 91:9-12 Have you ever heard the misconception that satan has to go before God first to ask Him if he can do something horrendous to us, like he did to Job? As if everything that happens in our life is from God. Click HERE to read more! Archives
